By the river Seine within a wide meander, the former property of the lords of Le Coudray and Count Jourdan, marshal of the Empire, it became a golf course in 1960.
Charles Kenneth Cotton, the architect, designed the Marronniers course and its varied 18-holes in a beautiful shaded setting facing the majestic forest of Rougeau. Centuries-old oaks and hornbeam mix with chestnut, plane and birch trees demarcating a slightly rolling course with well-defended greens.
The pleasant design offers a technical and varied challenge, where, often, strength must give way to intelligence of the play.
At the beginning of the 1970s the green keeper Pierre Bouchez, created the La Guiche 9-hole course. Tending towards the design of a compact golf course, it is an added bonus because it can be used by novice players offering them quick access to the golf course. For seasoned players it is an ideal place for improving one’s short game.

The 18-hole Les Marronniers was built in 1960 by Charles Kenneth Cotton. Its fairways undulate in a remarkable wooded environment which includes centuries-old oak trees.
The quality of the upkeep all year round is acknowledged. Its greens are among the best in the Paris region. This par 71 measuring 5,761 metres from the back markers requires skill and reflection from the golfer. You will need to adjust your tee off shots and not seek to cover distance at any price. You will have the pleasure of playing on a course with a history in a privileged and preserved location.
