GC Berchtesgadener Land

A few minutes by car from the festival city of Salzburg, in the slightly hilly area of the Upper Bavarian village of Weng, lies a golfing challenge of a special kind in a wonderfully quiet location: the Berchtesgadener Land golf course with its demanding par 72, 18-hole championship course. 6,408 meters starting from the champion tee and the tricky greens require all advanced skills, especially for the advanced golfer. Hole 11 and a par 3 island green with a sandy beach are a treat. The double green of the ninth and eighteenth fairways defended with snow-white bunkers right in front of the clubhouse also needs to be mastered. A round in the Golf Club Berchtesgadener Land, against the magnificent mountain backdrop of the Bavarian and Austrian Alps, is pure golfing pleasure.
