Pont Royal Golf Club was built in 1992 on old hunting grounds, Scrublands and pinewoods. The course is integrated into the natural environment of Provence with “garrigue” and pine woods offering both a technical and tactical challenge, celebrating the design by Severiano Ballesteros, making Pont Royal the only golf course designed by him in France. Well situated in the commune of Mallemort, between Aix -en -Provence and Avignon , around 30 minutes from the local TGV station and Marseille-Provence airport, the golf course offers great views of the Luberon, Alpilles Mountain range, the Durance Valley and the Massive of Trévaresse. Pont Royal welcomes visitors to the Provence region and offers a real sporting challenge to players of all levels with a wide variety of holes. At the heart of Pont Royal, come and discover our 6 holes training center, La Durance, offers a unique teaching facility in the region for beginners and regular players alike. Ranked in the best golf courses on Europe, Pont Royal will be hosting the “Hopps Open de Provence” European Challenge Tour event.
