Australia

The Grange Golf Club, superbly located 15 minutes from Adelaide’s central business district and 10 minutes from the airport, is one of the city’s premier sporting venues with two internationally rated 18-hole championship golf courses.

The East Course was recently redesigned by Greg Norman, who said: “The Grange Golf Club conjures up the most pleasurable and exciting memories; the birthplace of my professional career where I won the West Lakes Classic, my first professional victory. It is a club with all the finest Australian traditions of golf and everything that is associated with this wonderful sport we all love. I’m sure everyone who visits this great club will experience the same pleasure.”

The highly regarded West Course underwent a major redesign in preparation for the 2008 World Amateur Teams Championships. Its nuanced greens are among the best in the region.

Adelaide has been dubbed Australia’s most livable city. The city rises from the middle of a tree-covered plain, between rolling hills to the east and beaches to the west. The city is proud to be Australia’s wine capital, with numerous regions on its doorstep. There’s the Barossa Valley and Coonawarra (reds) and the Clare Valley (Rieslings). The Adelaide Hills has some stunning whites, then there’s McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Kangaroo Island is one of the jewels in its tourism crown. The area also has pristine beaches, unique wildlife and awesome sunsets.

East Course

Greg Norman’s redesign in 2012 has seen the East Course rank in Australia’s top 50 golf courses. Differing in style from the West course, the East has a variety of long and short holes that demand the attention from even the finest golfer. With wet lands and a forestry the east is appealing from a visual perspective and is testament to Norman and his team.
