Slapy, Czech Republic
Course description:
The playground is naturally integrated into the landscape. Conceptually, it is solved in such a way that the interesting fragmentation of the terrain gives the final result the required landscape-forming variety and golf difficulty. The goal is to satisfy even the most demanding players in terms of perception of the landscape and the golf game itself. The entire 18 course looks very compact, there are short transitions between the holes, the total length is 5400 m of yellow stones and the passage time is up to 5 hours, the course is rather shorter and technical.
First nine Rabyňská hora:
The first nine is a friendly course with wide fairways , slightly hilly with modeled greens (about 500m2 in diameter), it is a course of modern links type construction . The landscape in which the course is naturally integrated offers many wonderful views – of the surrounding hilly landscape, the nearby nature reserve Hrdlička or the Slapská dam. The course offers a quality golf experience for both beginners and players with lower handicaps. The first nine has a unique 3+3+3 layout , i.e. that 3 3-pairs, 3 4-pairs and 3 5-pairs are played on it. Of course, there are bunkers on the course, but also thorn draws and two waters. The greens, green surroundings, fairways and tees are under irrigation.
Second Nine Three Crosses:
There are also beautiful views and views of the surrounding forests , the valley in front of the Slapská dam, but also of the villages of Slapy and Přestavlky. Anyone familiar with Rabyňská hora can look forward to equally friendly, open and wide fairways and very precisely modeled greens . In particular, the one on the number 14 hole, where each of the six pin positions has its own terrace, will test the ability to read the green. For a change, on fairway 17, you can take a breather and gain strength quickly on the impressive walls made of stones and supplemented by cleaned draws, and the hard work of greenkeeper Vojtěch Fuchs and his assistant Jakub Lohmann is crowned by the green of hole number 18, which is largely cut out of rock.
