Golf Resort Barbora – Z

Less than 5 km west of Teplice, in the direction of Duchcov, at the foot of the Ore Mountains lies the Golf Resort Barbora, the home course of BARBORA GC golfers. The entire area is located in a landscape of meadows and groves, in an extensive regional biocenter between water reservoirs, streams and ponds, the most famous of which is Barbora (65 ha) and the trout stream Bouřlivec.

Since 2001, a golf course and a complete training area have gradually grown here, which were sensitively placed in the local landscape. The nine-hole course was completed in the autumn of 2007. In 2011, the completion of the 18-hole course began, and in the spring of 2013, the 18-hole course was standardized to PAR 72, length 5744m / 4614m, which can be considered completely “new”. Only a few holes were used from the original nine. The holes are very varied, they have a rhythm and alternate in an interesting way, they are not boring. The relief of the terrain is slightly undulating and is not a significant physical obstacle. The type diversity and color of the flora underline the picturesqueness and attractiveness of the environment.
